The devotion to the Virgin of Torreciudad includes an old custom born in the 15th century: the Domestic Chapels or niches. In this way many Marian devotions are brought to the homes of the faithful, thus bringing home the closeness and the protection of the Mother of God.
You can sponsor a Domestic Chapel to travel within your town. Currently there are more than 130 Domestic Chapels of Our Lady of Torreciudad (most of them in different Spanish cities and some abroad).
